I have several Dutch Ovens of this design (3 legs) in larger sizes.
The lid and pot should fit tight. This one does not. It has to be set in a specific position to seal. If you put the lid on and rock it and it rocks it is not sealed. For my purpose I can live witth it. Plan to use it to nest inside the large ovens during transport.
Next, don't season as instructions. The protective coating is not removed with washing. Need to find a solven to remove. It also calls for a 400�F bake for 2 hours with cooking oil or beacon grease coat, 1 hour at 300�F is adaquite.
It also has 2 bale-wire handles, one on each side. Not an advantage, increases nesting space needed vs. a one bale design.

looked real nice till i noticed the big crack running for one of the legs. must have been droped pretty hard during shipment.

My new dutch oven came today. Its looks great no problems at all. Its in the oven seasoning now and can't wait to use it.
